Safety & Verification

How Verification Works

CollabPls requires all users to sign in with a verified X (formerly Twitter) account. X’s blue checkmark requires government-issued photo ID verification, which confirms the user’s identity and that they are at least 18 years old. CollabPls trusts this verification so creators don’t need to verify again.

Age Verification (18+)

All users must be 18 or older. X’s ID verification process includes age checks. Anyone without a verified X account cannot create a profile on CollabPls. This helps ensure a safe environment for adult content creators.

What Data We Store

We store the following information:

  • Display name
  • X handle
  • Profile picture URL
  • Bio
  • Location (user-provided)
  • Content categories (user-selected)
  • Verification status

We do NOT store:

  • Passwords
  • X authentication tokens (beyond the session)
  • Private messages
  • Payment information
  • Content files

How Communication Works

When you find a creator you’d like to collaborate with, you express interest through CollabPls. The other creator receives a notification. Actual communication happens on X via DMs. CollabPls does not have a messaging system — this ensures all conversations happen on a platform with its own safety features and reporting tools.

Reporting & Blocking

If you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can:

  • Report the user on X using X’s reporting tools
  • Contact us on X at @collabpls to request a profile be reviewed
  • Block users through X

We reserve the right to remove any profile that violates our Terms of Service.

Safety Tips for In-Person Collaborations

  • Always verify the creator’s X profile before meeting
  • Meet in a public place first or bring a trusted friend
  • Share your location with someone you trust
  • Discuss boundaries and content expectations beforehand
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels off, don’t proceed
  • Keep all pre-collab communication on X where it’s documented
